Mayes Park
Connecting With Nature
A Shared Journey
Mayes Park is a private farm in the beautiful Sussex countryside. A former dairy farm, this wonderful family-owned estate is now shifting to a form of land management that focuses on nature.
We’re passionate about increasing biodiversity on the farm, inspiring children and adults alike about nature and conservation, and sharing our journey with likeminded volunteers.
Providing opportunities to access nature and educational experiences not only helps people feel closer to our natural world, but it also improves livelihoods and boosts wellbeing.

Biodiversity
Increasing biodiversity is the driving force behind our work at Mayes Park. Through restoring and increasing the wild habitats on the farm we hope to enhance and encourage wildlife. And we hope that visitors and school groups can experience, enjoy and learn about the incredible wildlife that finds a home here.
Wilder Futures
We explore the link between nature, farming, conservation and food production using the farm as a real life learning resource. We believe hands on, practical experience is the best way for children to learn. Each visit can be tailored to the relevant curriculum from Key Stage 1-4
